Louis De Belle is a photographer living and working in Milano, Italy.
After graduating at Politecnico di Milano (BA) and Bauhaus–Universität Weimar (MFA), he moved to Berlin and started working with curators, designers and architects. Since then he has maintained a practice between commissioned works and personal projects including books, exhibitions as well as lectures and workshops.
He is the author of Failed Dioramas (LUCIA Verlag), Besides Faith (self published), Disappearing Objects (bruno), Cartographies (Humboldt Books), Motors (METER Books) and Crowd (bruno). His projects have been exhibited in galleries, festivals and museums including Triennale di Milano, KINDL Center for Contemporary Art Berlin, Les Rencontres d'Arles, Offprint at Paris Photo, Tieranatomisches Theater in Berlin, The D&AD Awards, Milano Design Week, Malmö Fotobiennal, Copenhagen Photo Festival, Eindhoven Design Week and The New York Photo Festival.
